Events East President & CEO Carrie Cussons, FCPA, has been named one of Canada’s Most Powerful CEOs at the 2024 WXN Top 100 Awards.

This prestigious national award from Women's Executive Network recognizes Carrie’s leadership and impact across Canada. Her achievements as President & CEO of Events East Group have meaningfully transformed the events industry, the local community, and improved the reputation of Halifax on a national scale.

On November 27, Carrie was awarded this distinction at WXN’s Top 100 Awards in Toronto, Ontario.

The event celebrated women leaders like Carrie who redefine what’s possible for women in leadership through their power, passion, and purpose. 

Since the Top 100 Awards launched in 2012, WXN has celebrated 1,731 women who have been strong leaders and role models, making extraordinary contributions across various sectors.
